Trafficator repair and refinish recommendations

After only 66 years of service the self-cancelling feature of my trafficator has stopped working. In addition to repairs the bakelite could use a restoration and I'd appreciate any references on someone who can both rebuild/repair and refinish the unit. Though not a requirement I would prefer someone on the east coast but am willing to travel.

I pulled the trafficator unit and sent it off to Curt Arndt today. Removal was a lot easier than I expected--getting the olive off of the bottom end of the stator tube was the biggest challenge and it finally gave up!

For the BJ8, one does not need to remove the olive. Unplug the bullet connectors (if needed) at the front of the car so the wire can slide up the tube. Slowly pull the trafficator out enough so that you can get to the wires nuts inside the trafficator. Remove the nuts, now the trafficator can be removed and the wires stay in the tube.
