Yep. Cancels fine in both directions.
I had seen trafficators installed with these particular steering wheels (Moto Lita) in other cars, so I figured I should be able to make it work.
Two small mods were necessary. A tab inside the wheel hub had to be fabricated and secured. This captures the trafficator outer rotating collar. The other mod was a bushing on the stator shaft to hold the trafficator centered in the steering wheel hub. I used the high-tech method of wrapping the shaft with masking tape, and then applying some lithium lube to it. Seems to work just fine. Hope it lasts a good long time.
Right now I am cleaning and reassembling the carbs with the master parts kits. Maybe today or tomorrow I can get it all done.
Should I take a test drive to Morgan Hill on Saturday?
