You mean you didn't see where the site is from? UCLA? Ahem.

UCLA - BERKELEY...aren't they the same? WAAAAY to much time on their hands!

...or, possibly the site is the final exam project for an advanced degree from one of those 2 institutes of higher learning!

Hey Sherlock... as soon as I clicked on your car pics... pop ups of XXX rated sites started coming up. FYI, Steve

Hmmm... I'm in there (Webshots) all the time and have never had trouble, it's not my own personal website so I don't have any control of popups. I also have the Google tool bar that catches popups, I rarely if ever get them any more, certainly used to! First time I've heard of this from anyone. Anyone else run across this?

Just did a quick browse (toolbar tells me when it has blocked a popup) nothing went off, and don't recall seeing much toolbar activity - popups blocked - whenever I've been on there.

Being a college student, I've become aware of some wonderful software that installs itself on your computer, called "Adware." Before I came to college, i didn't know it existed. If you're using Internet Explorer and don't have sufficiently strict "ActiveX Controls," this bloody stuff will take hold. I use a program which is free off the internet called AdAware, downloadable from the maker, Lavasoft. I'm only pitching this because I know it works. I'm sure there are other programs, but I know of this one. Download it, update the registry file (its an option in the program) and run the scan. I'm sure you'll find a ton of "interesting" things you didn't want on your computer.
