Traffic Bollards in the UK

I am probably the only one who thinks "Manchester Bollards" either sounds a bit dirty ("Oh, that's a load of old Manchester Bollards, that is!") or the nickname of the local footie team ("...and in sports, striker Hugh McWartle has been traded to Manchester Bollards, for goalie Mike Wombleton and two prospects to be named later...")
