I had to bite my tongue after reading that story. All my Christmas shopping was completed back in July, and stories like that reinforce why I do my shopping when I do.
 
My husband and I were talking about "black Friday" last week and it struck us that this was just a recipe for disaster. Last year several people were injured in the mad crowds and now an employee is trampled to death. Personally, I'm doing my shopping when I always do...Dec. 24th! I love shopping on Christmas Eve...lower crowds and everyone has the same sheepish expression on their face. :confuse:
