Ford actually sold a tractor with the flathead engine already in it.

Up until 1953 Ford tractors all had flathead engines. The Golden Jubilee debuted in '53 with the first OHV engine.

Guess I should have been more specific. I meant flathead V8's into 8Ns, replacing the 4 cylinders.
