I've seen a lot of old Ford tractors that have had Ford Flatheads transplanted into them. Keeps it in the family and period correct on many of them.

Ford actually sold a tractor with the flathead engine already in it.

Up until 1953 Ford tractors all had flathead engines. The Golden Jubilee debuted in '53 with the first OHV engine.
