TR8 Update

Engine is in the car! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

I spent the day today prepping the engine and correcting a few... um... ERRORS! the machine shop made /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif - don't want to talk about it. But looks like no real harm done.

Hopefully, tomorrow I'll get the tranny and radiator installed, and start hooking up some loose ends.

I'm gett'n too old for this! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Congratulations on achieving this major milestone. It is amazing how events like this renew your motivation. Good luck in finishing the job.

Thanks to Forum member Joelb and his help yesterday, the tranny is in (can't believe I did that myself last time!), headers are on and hooked to the exhaust, starter's in, driveshaft's hooked up.

Got yardwork to do today, so it'll have to wait until later in the week before the radiator goes back in and the wiring is completed.

Like I told Joel, I'm too old for this stuff!
