Wedge TR8 Running Poorly

Thanks Mickey, Rod and Todd, you guys were among the most vocal about "just do it already." You guys were clearly right!

...only 'cause we been there, done that, and got the battle scars!

How's your ignition system? Ready for a Mallory Unilite? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I think the budget needs a break until next year, but, sure, that's on the list also!

I think the bracket must be around somewhere. In the excitement of getting it installed, I likely misplaced the bracket. Did not mean to imply Woody did anything wrong, the kit is comprehensive and well-done.....

Anybody on the fence, should definitely do the conversion!!

Can't wait to get some serious seat-time!

You can reuse a bracket from the stock intake, or Woody can send you a repro of the same part made out of a heavier gage steel. It slides under one of the intake bolts and sticks up in the air. The only thing you have to do is drill a small hole in it to mount the throttle return spring. If you don't figure it out, I can post a photo. Hopefully I can find the camera and it has batteries.
