Has anyone installed a gear reduction starter on a TR8? Here's the problem: The geare reduction starter only has two connections for wires (the positive wire and the ignition wire). On the TR8 (w/carbs), it has three wires (positive wire, ignition wire, and a starter relay wire). Where does the third wire go? I ordered the gear reduction starter (which will be delivered this week) and was told that its a simple hookup. Any thoughts??

I think this really is pretty easy. Try emailing the TR7/TR8 list at tr8@mercury.lcs.mit.edu if you don't get a great answer here shortly. Did you order it from TSI - if so I am sure Ted could walk you through it.
