Wedge TR8 Gas Cap

Need a new gas cap for my TR8, any suggestions? Wedge Parts has 1, but he wants $50. Looked on ebay, and none up right now.............Thanks!

The TR8 shares a fuel cap with the later TR7 (meaning the "small cap")

It's $20 from Victoria British -- a locking one, too. Not OE-spec, but it works.

When I bought my 8 I had to do major rust repair to include the rear panel containing the fuel cap, I ended up with a Big fuel cap. I would check with Ted at TSI or Scott at Team Triumph. Scott had several in stock when I was last there

Here is team Triumph from Warren Ohio. teamtriumph.com Scott is the owner's name and he has a nice variety of parts and is very responsive. I am a Big supporter of Woody and Ted, Scott has comethru many times with little knick knacks that others did not have

My TR8's cap fell apart -- so instead of buying the locking one, I used a little super glue.
