Wedge TR8 FI ECU's......

I bought two used fuel injection modules over the winter. Why? Because there is nothing else to do I Wisconsin from Jan 1st through June 1st except troll eBay

Both supposedly were in “great shape” and “worked when I pulled it out” Yea right.

I put one in and it had that classic trailer hitching we all read about. That was the first time I experienced it and it is quite obvious that something is not right.

The other one was dead as a door nail. The car simply would not start.

Considering I had nothing to loose at this point I opened them up and soldered in all the places that needed work. It was simple to do, easy to find and surprisingly fast to complete.

Some great resources on the subject:

https://www.team.net/TR8/tr8cca/wedgelab/injection/us_tr8/4cu-us.htm

Both are now working great. I ran each around town and up on the freeway....smooth as glass.

So I now have two working spare ECU’s. If anyone needs one for testing purposes let me know. Heck....if you need one soldered let me know. I got good at it today
