Wedge TR8 Air Pump?!

I want to confirm that the item above the Alternator on a non AC tr8 is the Water pump? Mine is starting to get a little loud, and I was thinking about replacing it. But want to make sure that is indeed the water pump. I feel the noise is coming from the pully. Which is above the alternator.

Sounds like your air pump, water pump should not be off the side or above the alternator?

If it sits up high as a relatively stand-alone/contained unit I also believe it is the air pump.

I believe it is the Air Pump. Any ideas where I can find a new one. I see Vicky's does not carry them.

That was my next question! I do not think I need it, so how do I go about disconnecting it?! There are no vechicle inspections on Antique Cars in KY!
