Wedge TR7 Value??

Hello Folks,

I have a friend with another shop, and one of his customers wants to sell his TR7, so I am trying to help him finding a value. It is an 81, fuel injected car with around 40K on it. The car has been well maintained, and driven regularly.I have only seen it once, but it looked good, and like it should at the miles.
The other thing I wondered, what is the VIN of the last car?Last month of production?

Any help or opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jesse

I paid $3500 for my '81 fi five years ago and it had less than 20k miles on it.

The last car seems to be 408534, according to the Rimmer Bros catalogue.

If you are looking for a buyer please keep me in mind - one of my friends is looking for a car and if he doesn't want it I would be tempted to get it for myself. I had a TR7 as my everyday car a few years and I remember it was a lot of fun.

Cheers
Alistair

Being a wedge owner myself, it pains me to have to say that people will get nowhere near what the NADA book says on a TR7. If it's in good shape, probably f*e*t*c*h $3500-$5000 tops

PS. Mine is fuel injected (as were all the 81s). IMHO more reliable and less headaches than carbed models.
