Wedge TR7 / TR8 seat question

Quick question - are TR7 seat track / mounting assembly's identical to TR8?

My TR8 seats are wobbly, and it looks like part of the track is missing. I have access to a spare set still installed in a TR7 coupe, but wanted to double check that they'd fit.

I do not beleive the tracks or seat mounts ever changed on the wedges. I used a set of seats from a a 78 in my 80 and it was an exact match.
 
Thanks for bringing the seat topic up. Is there a consensus idea for seat swaps in the 7-8 like the Miata for the 6?
 
If it is the same as the door lock mech. it is T30.
 
I wish some one would tell me a easy swap, I would like a better set of seat with out the cost of refinishing them
 
Shawn, Looks like a lot of import seats will fit.

Got the right one now. The seats use a T40, I also picked up a T30 so I'm set if I ever need to adjust the door locks.

What is up with the Torx screws anyway. Did GM buy a part of BL and not tell anyone??
