Question, will TR7 wheels fit a Spitfire? I found a set locally off of a 7 for about $100. They are American Racing alloys, 13"X6"(I believe). Will they work? Thanx!

Absolutly BUT the lug holes are different(not tapered)& you should upsize the lug bolts to tr7 standard 7/16(Spitfires are 3/8") In ANY regard upsizing the bolts is good irreguardless as its a stronger setup.,as the 3/8"bolts tend to snap off OW!
PS;As a side note watch the heatreat on new bolts from VB,Moss etc because some bolts are Chinese not hardened properly, always look for NOS bolts.
Buy some spares.

Here are mine. They are TR7 factory alloys with 175/70 R13 Michelins.

They rub a little when the wheel is turned to full lock but I love the way they look.

Thanx guys. It's very tempting. Lugnuts may be an issue. Know a good source for 3/8" mag nuts?

The Roadster Factory, Moss, Victoria British, Spitbits, etc.

I personally chose to swap wheel studs, as my wheels came with lug nuts. That was a frustrating exercise, as the web listed recommendations don't fit worth a darn. I really should have just bought new lugnuts from one of the above suppliers.

can anyone recommend a nice looking 14" for the TR8 and then I will sell my 13's"
