Wedge TR7 side molding & windshield Chrome?

TR7/8 TPI

How does one remove these trim pieces without damaging them? Do ya have to take out the glass for the windshield chrome?

The side trim is fairly sturdy, you should be able to pop it off its clips without damaging it. Some of the clips that hold it on may not survive though. New clips are very cheep, and available from most of the usual TR7 parts suppliers.

I have no usefull info on the windshield trim. I tried to remove it first when I was taking my windshield out while stipping my car. The windshield turned out to not be in very well, so the entire thing popped out with the trim still on it...

I can't help on the windshield trim either, but agree with Mark on the side trim. Before my repaint I took a flat putty knife and tapped through the anchors and the trim came off nice and easy. That way didn't put stress on the trim much at all and I just need to replace the anchors. Only took about 5 minutes per side...
