I noticed that on my 1979 TR7 the right side marker lights, right tail light, the license plate lights and the dash lights are not working. I noticed the 10 amp fuse was blown. I know the side markers, right tail light, and license lights are on the same fuse (I am not sure about dash). I checked the fuse...blown. As soon as I replace it..it blows again. Any suggestions on where I should look for a short. How about master light switch? How about the dash dimmer(the rheostat that diims dash that is next to the lighter)? Any ideas. I can not test circuits because the fuse blows immediately. Thanks!

Disconnect the side marker and see if it still blows. Sometimes the bulb socket rusts up and causes a short. If that doesn't work star unplugging things one by one till you find the culprit. If the fuse still blows with nothing hooked up, then it's time to start tracing the wires.
