Wedge tr7 radiator

Do you want new? Stock?
What's your criteria?

looking for new..or uprated...or rebuilt, but I do not want to pay UK shipping from rimmer bros. Thanks

Can you redo yours
Usually cheaper

That's my suggestion, take the old one to your friendly local radiator shop. I've had both TR3 and Stag radiators recored, and been happy with the result.

You can use one of those $180 universal aluminum rads from Summit. I have used them a half dozen or so times. They work great. 26X16X3 is the size you want. You will need to make mounting pins top and bottom and install a small neck at the top to go to the overflow tank. Here's a picture of the last one I made up for a TR8.

Todd- He's got a 7
How different are they?

Just installed the rad in my Wedge with my daughters help.
I'm getting to old for that

The rads are very similar. TR8 has a bigger hose inlet. TR7 has a push in fan switch, TR8 has a screw in, but I don't use them anyway. Much rather use an aftermarket adjustable fan sensor and an electric fan. TR8 mounts on an angle and the TR7 straight up. Fabrication for the TR7 is actually easier than it is for the TR8, but neither one is difficult. Started using these in my TR8 race car long before anything other than stock was available. I'll be putting one in the TR8 I dragged home last month if it doesn't sell soon the way it sits. If I do, I'll write something up and take pics as I go to show how easy it is.
