one of the local auto repair/car dealers in eugene oregon has a 1976 tr7 "project" for sale for $275. Advert says it has a Buick V6 engine. haven't looked at the vehicle yet. price sounds ok for a parts car.

Hey Philman,
Your signature says you have a TR8 with multiport injection. Is this the standard Federal Specification Lucas unit with the 4CU ECU or do you have a different setup?
Just curious if you have put on modifications or stock.

using a ecu out of a bareeta with a custom chip burned. using the intake manifold of a '92 range rover on a buick block. not quite finished with it yet, will keep you posted with details.

Ok philman, you picqued my curiosity. Why the ECM out of a Chevy Beretta?

cheap, eeprom burning programs are already written for this ecu. i don't think the stock rover ecu can make use of a nice cam, pistons, higher volume injectors and it would be more difficult to burn a new chip.
