Wedge TR7 - Lower Door Post Trim

Does anybody know if the lower door post trim in a 1980 TR7 has a vent hole or not?

Also, the car currently has a beige interior, but I want to change it out to the golden tan with plaid panels and carpeting. This is available from TRF: carpeting, door panels, bulkhead panel, front door post trim, center console knee pads, center armrest lid, gearshift and handbrake boots. I didn't see a rear quarter panel for the convertible. Is there not one? I think I need to buy extra vinyl material to cover it myself?

I want to purchase the interior for the car while TRF is having their sale. I won't physically see the car until after the sale. Thanks.

I think it depends if the car has AC or not.

Dan -

A/C cars had no hole for the vent in the kick panel ahead of the doors. Non-A/C cars' kick panels have the vent with a pop-open door there. All cars have the hole cut in the sheet metal, but the A/C cars have a plate riveted in place.

Regarding the rear, the sill carpet extends up the B-pillars in the convertible, and there is a small amount of vinyl glued above that. Much of that is covered by plastic shrouds that hide the top frame.

Be sure to get the carpet set for the convertible. I ordered a set from TRF, and they mistakenly shipped a set for the coupe - no extension up the B-pillars. No problem exchanging, but it did set me back a week or so.

Dan, don't think the wedge is included in the sale.

During Triumphest, Charles Runyan "... decided to give a full 25% discount off the List Prices in TRF's Web Site Catalogue." Further, he is giving shipping discounts this weekend. The TR7 interior is in the catalog.

I like the way he does business!
