does anybody have the pin out diagram of the combination relay used for a tr7 fuel injection harness? am converting to v8, ecu harness unplugs neatly from one side, want to ensure fuel pump energizes properly. thanks, philman

Read your post a couple days ago, but was and am unsure about what you're asking for. I have replaced this part on my 7 then repaired the old one as a spare after I found the faulty ( or is that Fawlty) soldered joint inside it. The pin locations though I am not that familiar with, it does seem to me though that something like that is embossed on the relay itself. Good Luck

the relay body diagrams pin numbers to the pins on the base; I wanted to know which pins were the normally closed/open connections, common, coil, etc.

let me get this straight you need the diagram for the tr7 pin or the tr8 pin set up i believe i can direct you to the tr8..set up and maybe the tr7 but i will need to check..

I am dropping a fuel injected v8 into a tr7 and am trying to ensure the fuel pump wiring is correct while it's easy to modify - no no seats or carpeting in the way. i am not sure if there are two coils or only one to energize the fuel pump relay.

OK I found what I wanted. 86/86a +12 to coil on fuel pump side of relay. 88y +12 to fuel pump side contacts; 88c/88d NO contacts to fuel pump side of relay. 86c +12 to coil of FI side of relay, 88z +12 to FI side contacts; 88a/88b NO contacts on FI side of combination relay. The Texas Porche912 organisation has a pretty good Jetronic FI manual available on line; with troubleshooting guide, pin outs of ECU. This information should be good for FI 7's and 8's
