Wedge TR7 Convertible for TR7 Coupe Swap?

I've have a 79/80 Tr7 Convertible that the interior is a 8.5/9 and the exterior is a 8 (would be a 9 but has 10 or so hail dings) there is no engine or transmission the car is set up with a "johns cars" v6 conversion. But is a roller..... I am thinking of going Chumpcar racing and don't want to chop up my convertible that I've had for 22 years. I would like it to go to a better home. I live in Knoxville Tn and I am looking for trade ideas. 2 roller coupes for 1 convertible? Ill send pics to anyone who wants to see them.

Clean TR7 coupes have become very difficult to find. I've been looking for one to rebody one of my race cars for over two years. Closest fairly priced one I have found is 500 miles away. Add in fuel and toll costs to go get it, and it's no longer cost effective. Maybe where you are farther south, you'll have better luck.

Try craigslist, I've seen a couple in it cheap($700). If I see another one listed I'll let you know.

Found a Coupe for $900 on Craigslist, Birmingham, AL under cars and trucks, search for Triumph.
