Have been off for a while so should probably be reintroducing myself, but will chance it. I'd bet this has been covered a bajillion times, but will ask anyway. What is the replacement interval for the camchain on the TR7? I was sure I had read 50 thou somewhere , but now can't find it in my Bentley book. Have a bad knock in my 7's top end and after taking off the cam cover I find the chain very slack even accounting for the hydraulic tensioner. I bought a new cam chain awhile back and am set to install it. But would appreciate some encouraging words from my Buds on this site that would reassure me that my knock is probably the cam chain.
