Hi folks from Australia. I've been a Triumph owner for about 7 years. Originally a 2500 TC auto. A really nice car and one that I has aspired to own since a teenager. About 5 years ago I sold that and bought a Stag with the Rover 3500 engine change. New paint and several tweaks and an enjoyable weekend tourer. About 12 months ago I found myself wandering around ads for classic cars for sale and came upon a TR7. It was manufactured in 1981 and brought to Australia in 1992 with just 2500 miles on the clock. It was put away in a shed on a dairy farm when the owner passed away until a friend acquired it about 5 years ago. I bought it from him. It now has just 26000 miles on the clock, its paintwork is pristine, and there is no rust anywhere. Myintention is to work from the back forward replacing rubber bushes, fuel lines, maybe the fuel tank, and methodically get it back on the road. So that's me folks. Look forward to your advice/assistance as the project advances.
