Does anyone recognize these wheels?
I decided I like the looks of the black wheels with the green.

I was planning on something like this

Whats the group decision

They are Panasports.... I beleive panasports are offered in silver, gold, and black. I was thinking that black would look good on Sinister8

What do you think of the 5 spoke in black. 15" They are MGF wheels.saw them on another car.

I purchased Konig Rewinds for the TR6. The ones I purchased were all silver, but they also make black with polished rims - gold, too. See picture below. The center hubs are flat so you can buy the Triumph center hub decal and apply it to the surface. I have the decals, but waiting to apply them until after it comes out of the shop. Also, they are about half the price.

For the TR7, I would like to increase the rim size from 13 to 14 or 15 inch, but don't know the offset yet or the tire size I will need. I need to research that. I want to buy another set of Konig Rewinds with the black centers and polished rims.

You are going to find that very few wheels exist that fit our car. The ones you do find are pricey. The 4X95mm only fit TR7/8, Spitfire/GT6, and Lotus, on cars that were available in the states. Some Formula Ford race cars used it too. Don't be looking at Tire rack and their $500 a set wheels. You will only get your hopes and dreams dashed on the rocks. The best you will do is a set of panasport knock-offs for around 750 a set. Add to that shipping, tires, mounting and balancing. Budget at least $1200. One of the main reasons I haven't gotten back to racing yet is wheels. The SCCA will now let me run 15X7 instead of the 13X7 I have. Just to get back on track, I am looking at 8 wheels and tires at around 400 a wheel and 200 a tire. Add to that my recently expired safety gear, and mouse eaten drivers suit. I looking at $5000 even before I inevitably wreck another car.

TRF Has one set of Black Panasports for TR7/8 in their weekend sale this week for a pretty sensible price.

No. Lightweight wheels are $400 and the 225/50/15 Hoosiers are about $200 a pop. If you take car of them, you can get a couple of weekends out of them. Same for the racing brake pads at about $150 a set. Change oil and brake fluid every weekend. Brake rotors and shocks at least once a year. Wheel bearings every third weekend. Seatbelts every other year.

The limerick(`76 tr-7) has a set of stockers in front and gt6s on the back+spare. I like the look and they came with the car. Robbie in wyoming
