TR6 TR6-windshield frame to bady sealer

Greetings all, I am new here, just introduced myself on the proper new member forum, so I thought I would go ahead and ask a question. Or two. Or maybe three. First, I am finishing up mostly trim and interior on my '74 TR6. I have all the seals in hand, but I cannot find out what type, if any, of sealer I should use between the windshield frame to body seal. Is any used? second question, which repair manual/restoration guides are best for the 6? I have always liked the Bentley's guides for the MG's, is it the best choice for a repair guide? What about restoration guides? OK, I've used my three questions, I'll shut up and wait for replies. Thanks,

Didn't put anything there on mine
Bentley,if your interested drop me a PM and I'll e mauil you a computer copy to have on your hard drive.

David, welcome to the forum.

The Factory manual is my favorite, but the Bentley is good too.

I used a flexible clear seam sealer between the bottom of the frame weatherstrip and the cowl panel.

thanks for the replies, sounds like I can use or not use something there. See, already I have learned something. And my wife says I am untrainable!
