TR6 Windscreen removal

I have removed or loosened all parts associated with windscreen removal, and the years have made it snug in the hold-down brackets, probably due to rust or paint overspray. The windscreen HAS to come off. Any suggestions? I AM OBSESSED WITH RUST REMOVAL AND REPAIR!!!!!!

I was lucky with mine (stubborn but finally came loose). I suspect some of them were assembled before the paint was dry.

Some folks have had success by undoing the bolts holding the brackets to the body and then twisting the brackets to free the posts. I can't recall if those brackets can be spread a bit to help them loosen.

I usually open the doors, stand on the rocker panal, and pull and wiggle for all I'm worth. They usually come out, but not before a lot of cussin' and sweating.
Definaty spray those clamps with penetrating oil first.
You may want to post this in the Triumph forum to get some more response.
