TR6 TR6 Wind blocker

I had a shipment of 1 TR6 and 9 MGB Wind Blockers take a rough ride from West Virginia to Moss's Warehouse in California. The result? Ten Wind Blockers that have some scratches on the powder coated aluminum cross bar. Eight of the MGB units are gone, leaving me 1 TR6 and 1 MGB unit. The MGB unit will also fit late Midget and Most Healey's

I have inspected all of them, but some simple burnishing, and a top coat of a flat black paint made them look pretty darn good. The polycarbonate has a plastic protective coating has some over spray on it, but not to worry, that plastic protective film does its job.

I normally sell these for $159(MGB) and $169 (TR6), which includes shipping, but would like to see them go to good use to good people who are on the fence.

At this time, I'd like to offer these at $125 each, which includes shipping. If you are interested, please let me know.

If this is supposed to be posted somewhere else on the forum, please pardon me.

Thanks!

I'll get in line after Elysium if it will fit my Moss roll bar and he doesn't want it.

I would like to see a picture if possible.

I can honestly say, with apologies, that I don't know if it will fit with the roll bar.

I think this photo is of a TR6...take a look and see if you can tell. If it's a maybe, try it and if it doesn't fit, I'll be happy to refund. This is the only photo I have.

BobbyD - if you can post a photo without the boot cover, that would be great.

I've had this wind blocker for about 3 years now and........my wife loves it! She no longer has to hold on to the brim of her hat to keep it from flying off into never never land! Bottom line..... they do work! Just my 2 cents.

My wife feels the same way!!!

I can't answer the roll bar fit question but it looks like Kodanja got it all fitted together. I measured 9-1/2" from the front of the mounting bracket to the front edge of the wind blocker itself. Maybe that will help you figure out if it will fit with your roll bar.

But the real question is.....is Kodanja's car back home with a new clutch and a working tranny?

Thanks for the info,is it Tim? Nice of you to offer.

For the Wedge crowd I saw a web item about the BMW "Z" windbreakers working for them. If any one is interested I will try to hunt up the article. For me,in the Wedge, I can't wear a cap as it blows off.

I really like the BMW method. Works well for the Wedge. Since the wedge doesn't have the back shelf area as the TR's and Mg's and has a back flat wall it has 2 brackets that fit on the wall and the deflector fits in there.

Oops! I thought that it would fit inside the roll bar frame itself. I'll respectfully withdraw my request.

Looks good. How well does it weather. Does it dull over time. Does it scratch easy.
How about Black instead of chrome.
