Got a little baggie w/ the retainer kit which appears to have grease in it. I take it that is for the e brake lever pin in the w/c and where the w/c contacts the backing plate.

Likely so, as those areas should be lightly lubricated. Nice that they're putting in some brake kits! I've long used white lithium grease with good success; what sort of grease was provided?
