TR6 TR6 Water Pump Help

I finally pulled the water pump out
of our TR6.I came up with 1 nut,& 2 nuts/studs.
How do I get the remaing nuts off of the studs?
I was going to a "double-nut",but when I matched
the 1 one nut,it doesn't fit the remaining 2 studs.
What size are the studs?
After putting this off for over a year,I'd like
to get it going again.

Hold stud in vice, careful not to damage thread, heat up to cherry red let cool and then nut should come off stud(don't forget vice will be hot too and burns!),replace in block/housing using double nut method. The thread that goes into the block is probably unc and the other end unf

I found part of the problem -
the end of the studs were rough.I
ended up just buying new studs. Now
all I need to do is clean the old
threads up,& put it back together.
