My '72 TR6 turn signal cam is misaligned, or rather the steering column is off. I am not sure how to go about realigning the steering so that the turn signal cam does its job post-signaling and completing the turn. Thanks for the help.

Nut,

not sure if this helps, but bobby d has some good pics on his website of the steering column and the cancelling clip.

You might be able to check and see if you cancelling clip has moved or is not set up properly.

Herald, take the steering wheel off to check for alignment. If you need to move the shaft to get the tab centered. take the shaft loose at the bottom "U" joint, next to the rack, and move into place. It's just a crimp connection and should slide out of the way with a little help from a flat punch.
