TR6 TR6 traling arm spacer question

Hello,
I am doing a complete overhaul of both trailing arm areas. The driver side trailing arm brackets had 3 spacers behind each trailing arm bracket. I had read in one of my manuals that this is the maximum number of spacers that should be used. When I removed the passenger side there were five spacers behind the inside TA bracket, and four spacers behind the outer TA bracket. I plan on taking my car in for a four way allignment when I am done, but should I put the same amount of spacers back in this area even though it exceeds the maximum suggested amount of spacers? Thanks,
Kevin

I would put it back as you found it and let the alignment guy figure out what is needed.

Make double dog sure that you take this to a craftsman who really knows his craft. This is not a job for the run of the mill "front end guy"with a fancy machine who thinks he understands.Get a read-out of all the measurements, thrust angle, toe, caster, and camber. Before and after work is done, take him any extra shims you have. Make sure the drivers seat is weighted. If he does a good job take him beer and spread his name around!!

Have we heard from Bill and his alignment problems, or is he still looking for excuses so as to not face the music?
