TR6 TR6 top frame windshield seal.

Is the best way to slide the top windshield seal in that little track is by using liquid soap, or does something else work better?

spray on silicone works well as well. I presume you mean the three piece seal on the leading edge of the top frame the seals to the top of the windshield frame?

I have always had to poke in one side with flat tip screwdriver.

Thanks guys, I may try the poke method first, that way I don't have to try and slide the seal thru all three pieces.

I had a commercial window installer put in a rear window of the surrey top. He used a spray can of foaming window cleaner. I continued to use it when I have done additional windshields. I used it up on the last one or I would give you the name. Big advantage is no residue to clean up, just use a bit more to clean up the glass.
