TR6 TR6 to TR3 fan- question

To help with cooling, I would like to try using the yellow TR6 fan on my TR3-- do I need an adaptor? the Moss page below can be used for reference if that helps. Thanks

You'll need to move the radiator about one inch forward or obtain a shorter fan hub/shaft. There was a fellow making one out of aluminum. Try Carl at actionsl@mindspring.com

I've heard that most simply reverse the fan. Apparently still cools OK but easier to fit to the sidescreen TRs.

There is an early TR6 70-71 fan that has 7 rounded-tip blades and fits even easier since it's much smaller (and quieter). Anything is better than the flat 4 blade fan.
