TR6 TR6 Tire Clearance

Hello All,

I feel this is likely just a suspension issue, but the clearance between my driver's side rear tire and the forward edge of the wheel well is barely two fingers, while the clearance on the passenger side is a nice three fingers. My tires are the same brand and size, and I don't believe it ever rubs, but the point is that there is a visual difference and I don't know why. I have renewed the rear shocks and springs in the past five years.

Thoughts?

Have you had a full alignment done? Any chance of frame damage where the rear A-arm attaches on the driver's side?

Scott

Check the wheel measurements from the same points front to back on both sides to see if the problem is in the frame or the body.

Sounds to me like a typical Triumph. They weren't too particular about fit and finish on the assembly line.
