Definitely not cheap but awfully interesting.

Agreed.

So many (fuel intake) choices.

If you think about original Lucas PI conversions, or the Goodeparts triple Stromberg setup or Weber sidedraft/downdraft and "torpedoes be damned" performance was not a primary goal, then this TBI setup is very appealing.

Cannot think of a sound reason why my <20mpg TR6 wouldn't thrive under such a precisely metered system and its' ancillary benefits.

The only negative that comes to mind is that may not have that "cool" such as a Lucas PI system or the Goodeparts triple (or a supercharger for that matter).
