TR6 TR6 speaker placement?

I have gone back and forth on if I wanted to install a radio/cd player in my car, but with the idea of some long road trips ahead, I am leaning more on installing it. I plan on putting in four speakers. Where do most of you place the speakers?

Thanks,
Kevin

If you really want to hear it, get some Miata seats with speakers in the head rests. I have these and they are great. I also have some 4" speakers in the kidney panels with some enclosures on the back side of them. This helps balance.
These are tough cars to put speakers in for good sound distribution.
Here's something I think would be a good bet.

That is a nice installation, and easier for a six as they just get covered with carpet.

I just went through the same decision and decided on the following:

1. 6x9 speakers with custom enclosures for better sound in the kidney pannel.
2. 6x9 speakers in a customer enclosure with an amp on the rear parcel shelf. Nobody sits there so why not sure the space. I got carpeting to match and it looks like it came from the factory. No pictures yet. The amp is the key part to hearing the radio. Hooked in an iPod interface and the sound is unbelievable.

OR another concept:

I found several hundred feet of speaker wire under the passenger's seat, running to the trunk. I believe
DPO Pedro carried large boomboxes in the trunk.
