TR6 TR6 Short Circuit....this is getting irritating

Re: TR6 Short Circuit....this is getting irritatin

Hello R,

how do you use a test light to check for draw?, and it doesn't need to be that heavy either to drain your battery.

The same way you check a little 9-volt battery for juice, stick your tongue on it.

{Uh, er, jest joking! Please don't try that!}

(...but yer honor, I was jest

joking !)

Disconnect the ground from the battery, attach one lead of the voltmeter to the cable, and the other to the battery ground. You can read your "Dark Current" in millivolts.
Pull fuses one at a time, until you find the problem circuit.
Alarms, clocks, etc are all big offendors.
Wow! Sands giving someone advise on electrical issues...kinda scary.
Good Luck Bob

Don't have a volt meter, so I've been using a 12v Test light....disconnect the + terminal, clamp the test light to the + battery post, and touch the cable with the end of the tester, if it lights then you've got draw.
