Are you using stock profile cam? Which ratio roller rockers did you choose?

arrived last night, Richard got them out FAST and they look well made, I will begin the installation after work today, they are the 1.55 ratio. Pics of the installation comming

and as far as the cam goes I can only assume its stock but it does have an adjustable timing gear so dont know I will have to go back thru the receipts and see if there is a cam listed

a few pics, really not much to see in the way of progress, take valve cover off, loosen the 5 bolts holding the rocker arm on, loosen each nut a few turns at a time, remove old rocker arm and you get this

next pull each push rod and check for wear and straighness, then drop the new roller rockers on the studs, put the nuts on and tighten each nut a few turns at a time as to not bend the shaft and keep checking each push rod to make sure its in the adjuster socket and you have this

then adjust the valves. I use the 13 method which is number one valve down and adjust valve 12 1 plus 12 equals 13 then 2 down adjust 11 then 3 down adjust 10 etc, I also use a dial gauge to show me when the valve is all the way down or open, and FYI I checked my feeler gauges with my dial calipers and guess what those feeler gauges suck and not accurate at all especially ones less than .015 my 012 was actually 010, I know my dial calipers are accurate I checked them against a calibration block set

I used it to knock the valve cover loose from the head I glued the gasket on with silicon, you guys dont miss much do ya!
