TR6 TR6 Radio recommendation

Greetings all.

I'm looking to install a vintage looking radio in my 1970 TR6 that has modern features. ie. USB port, AUX port, Blue Tooth, etc.

Are there any options other than those offered by Moss?

What would you recommend in speakers? I'm hoping for something low profile style to avoid the plastic box style it's sporting now.

I wouldn't recommend Retro Sound the first one would not work when connected in the car they replaced it but the second one failed big time and was sent to the bin, very expensive as well. You could try the el cheapo from Hong Kong nothing to lose if it fails after a short run.

I got a Retrosound radio for my Porsche. I like it fine; I've had no reliability problems. Only oddity is that the volume control has to be turned quite a bit more than I would have expected. Also, I agree, it is a tad pricey.

A radio, in these cars, is marginally useful because of the high ambient noise. I remember that the AM radio that came with the TR4A I had in the 60s had very little bass--I think that was done specifically to make it more intelligible in the noisy environment. In the Porsche, I found that a couple extra speakers in the rear helped a lot.
