TR6 TR6 plastic glove box installation

I ordered a TRF plastic glove box and the hardware kit to mount to the TRF dashboard that I've never got around to installing in my '71 TR6. I know that I probably should have gotten the paper glove box, but plastic lasts forever (that's what the environmentalists tell me, anyway).

My question - how do I attach the glove box to the dash? The hardware kit contains 6 screws and 6 "fit nuts" (their term - I've always called them "clip nuts"). Where do they go? Thanks.

Never mind! Now that I've actually pulled off the old homemade dash, it makes sense. I thought it somehow mounted to the back of the wood dash. Live and learn, and next time research before posting!

Andy- One thing I wish they would do with that new plastic cubby. Predrill the light hole.

Andy,
Another point. Intead of using screws to install the cubby
(just another thing to come aloose) I used small aluminum pop rivets. Easy to drill out if you want to remove the plastic cubby. And they don't vibrate out.
