The rear end of my car was painted over by the PO. Is the rear end supposed to be painted flat or semi-gloss black? Thanks for your help.

Kevin- I believe it is suppose to be flat black. I'm in Boston right now but can post a pic for you tomorrow... let me know.
 
Satin or an eggshell

I hate flat paint
 
SEMS makes a 2 part epoxy paint with hardner thats a satin that perfect, thats what I used and its easy to clean off when it get dirty
