TR6 TR6 Paint Codes

Anyone know of a link that shows the paint codes for TR6s. I'm about 2 weeks away from painting my 72 TR6. The original color is called Crimson and I'd like to get as close as possible to the original. thanks, Bob

Are you sure its "Crimson"? That is not a listed TR6 color. Could it be "Damson"? Do you have the color code off of the build plate?

the plate reads: Paint 17 Trim 11.....so it's Damsom red. So, how does one get the right color from a supplier. What would the DuPont # be?

Sorry, I should have notes the source. I scanned it from the book by William Kimberley 'Triumph TR6'. A good reference for the model.
