What did they get for the finished car? My video conked out at the 38 minute mark.
Also - Edd didn't check the thrust washers- or maybe he did but didn't show it.
Even my wife loves Wheeler Dealers. Overhaulin doesn't compare.
And what's that no-water antifreeze? Does anyone use it?

8500 quid. He said he profited 1500 (no time included). The front grill was lacking the black paint behind the grill, the finishing plate, and the black ribbon inside the aluminum cross piece. Bugged me to death. I would have fixed that body feature. Looks better with than without. IMO. Very nice car.

What would be the proper way to replace that? Mine is somewhat tattered. Is there a specific replacement ribbon?

I was able to salvage my ribbon. I took some pictures of the the grill assembly as I powder coated the grate. The are clips at each end of the ribbon.

It's strange that the "Vintage Cool" is only sold from the UK; in the states they sell "High Performance Coolant".

I took the easy way out and painted the whole inside of the crossbar black. By wiping off the front surface, only the inside "U" is black. Of course it's more black area than the original thin ribbon, but I liked the effect. It gave the silver front more definition, and it was quick & easy! I also like the area behind the grill to be black.
