Thanks everyone for all the TR info.

But, I have a question for TR6 owners, where is the interior light located? This car is a '76. I also have to find a way to open the trunk (owner has lost the key), know I can get a new lock cyc. from V.British.

thanks again
Ed

If you have AAA, let them send a locksmith. Just can't find that darn key!!!

My '73 has two lights... one on the drivers side in a bulb holder right near the key switch, and one on the passenger side footwell just hanging off the wiring harness.
It's no problem getting a replacement trunk cylinder for the lock, the hard part is getting it open.

Go and download the FREE AAW wiring schematic and see what it should be on a '76. Probably one by the key and another under the glove box. On my '75 the passenger side one is switch controlled and not door controlled. Earlier cars had one on the tranny tunnel too.
