TR6 TR6 illustration on the way

Still a ways to go but far enough along to give you a peek. Because I'm developing this for all years, the current version is mix of parts from various models—black wheels caps, no trim rings, red-line tires, Union Jack decal, no over riders, etc (no engine yet)—but should be enough to give you the idea. Shooting to have it to my tech editor by Friday. All colors, all accessories and options will be available including some non-stock ones like Panasport wheels and the like.

I'm undecided on what to do for back round art. Typically I like to include the bonnet or grill badge or something else that is keenly associated with the model but haven't come to ground on this one yet. Pretty sure I'm going to add the line art like I did on the TR3 and TR4 illustrations. Comments, suggestions gratefully accepted.

I'll post another progress pic this evening. Am working from back to front squaring away details with plans to start on the motor tomorrow (Thursday). Stay tuned...

Here's the second pass. Lots of reshaping, changed the interior to "New Tan", changed the interior door panel and hardware, added the heater, changed the exhaust, reshaped the front wing and bonnet, added the chin spoiler, turn lamp, added the pedals and master cylinder (still need to pen in the brake booster), edited a bunch of transparency layers. It's getting there. Starting on the engine tomorrow. Don't I'll complete it but hope to get a good start before I head out for a few days of R&R.

The front end should be sitting up higher with no motor :wink-new: Any chance of a Michelloti bodied TR in the future?

Russ,

Name of the company and Web address have changed. If you tried to order using the old information it should have redirected you to: https://sportscarart.com. once there, choose Restoration Decals then the Triumph area. Everything else, store , etc. should work as before.

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth but I did take a week off and am now back at it, working to complete the TR6 illustration. Deep in throes of the engine and it's many variations. Hoping to have something near completed to post up by tomorrow. Stay tuned...

Progress. I have the line art and emblem in the background and the reflection below the car. I'm aware that the line art views represent different years but with all of the various changes over the production I need to capture as many of the iterations as I can and will adjust to suit for the year of the print. Motor is also done but I still need to take care of all of the engine compartment detail so I'm not showing it right now. Other than that, I'm taking orders with proofs going out this week and files to the printer next week.

If you're interested in one of these limited edition prints, it's very important that you take advantage of the ability to upload photos of your car to the order form so I can get the details right. Preferred views would be one of the engine compartment taken from the right side of the car, an interior shot taken from the right rear showing the seats and door panel, and and exterior view taken from the left side.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome, keeping in mind that this is a work in progress and subject to change.

Signing off for tonight...

When you get ready to sell a few, let it be known to the 6-Pack.

I went ahead and joined as well as took out a membership. Perhaps you would be so kind as to make an introduction for me? Understandably, some folks can get a bit ruffled when a newbie's first post is to sell something.

Yes, I'd be glad to, David.
There is this category that I can make sort of an introduction to your art work:
https://www.6-pack.org/j15/index.php/forum/9-new-products-parts-sources-vendor-reviews
If you could send me a PM thru the BCF, I'll reply and include my email address.
When you get my address, send me something I can post in the above catagory describing your offerings.
I think anything TR6 and TR250 related will be very well received.

Well, it's about time I finished this up. Engine is in. This one shows the Strombergs but I also have SUs and a Weber set-up as well that can be substituted. The line art will more closely match the year and features of you car as will the other details (seats, rear sticker, bumpers, etc.). I threw the Panasports on the red car just to see what they would look like but, again, you can choose the factory wheels or even wires if you like. Lot's of options—mirrors bullet, Raydyot, factory), Surrey top, seats (high back, head rest, no head rest), with or without the black rubber bumper guards on the later cars and, of course, your choice of factory exterior and interior colors.

For a car more or less based on the TR4, this was a pretty tough assignment and took me considerably more time than I thought it would but I like the look.

You can order at: https://www.sportscarart.com/produc...ing_wp_cron=1426467278.2121770381927490234375

Delivery is 10-14 working days after you approve the low-resolution electronic proof I send you (so you have an opportunity to review and make changes to the artwork you will receive).

Here's another example. This one as the purchaser requested with the late model (high) front bumper without bumper guards, Stebro exhaust, luggage rack, Panasport wheels, low back seats, and bullet mirrors. It's not quite like that old slogan, "You can have it your way" but I try to include as many of each owner's personal touches as are reasonable, including updating the background line art to match.
