Hello,

Has anyone out there installed the heavy duty headlight harness that Victoria British sells? Is it worth it and how easy / hard was it to install?

On a side note does any reproduce / sell the little "spoons" that hold the air vents and gauges in??

Cheers,
Colin

Check to see if Advance is back up and running again. Ask Paul about his.

Best thing that I could have done. Bright headlamps, no strain on switch, separate relays and fuses for that entire circuit, along with it's own power feed. Top quality kit from Advanced.

There's some pictures of it going in here: Headlamp Relay Kit & Engine Installation

Where are you in MA?

Welcome to the forum as well!

Hey Paul,

We met 2 years ago at the CCBCC event, it was raining of course, I live in Blackstone, MA and work in your neighborhood at Hasbro. I just heading out now for a ride in the TR6, I have to get back before the sun goes down since the headlights aren't working. The hazard light don't work either since the $200 swtich broke. I by passed it so the directionals still work.

Do you think Erik could fix them?

Cheers,
Colin

Has anyone installed the kit offered by Daniel Stern. Wires are not included, just components including new lamp sockets. I am trying to decide between this approach and Advanced Auto Wire

Thanks

Michael

"These parts packs help you feed full power to headlamp bulbs. Kits include American and German-made extreme-duty parts to accept your own 10-12ga wire: 30-amp relays with dual output terminals, relay brackets and terminal blocks, terminals, extra-tough fused fuseholders and high-heat headlamp sockets. In most cases, the vehicle's factory wiring remains uncut."

Colin,

Sorry for the brain gas. I do remember you now.

Yes, Erik can fix it for you.

Michael- There are 2 differences in philosophy between the 2 schools (Dan vs. Daniel). Has to do with fuses somehow. Also the kit from advance uses the CORRECT color wires a big plus and if you need it a little different they will do it for you. Ask D. Stern to do that. And I think Sterns's kit is just pieces and not put on a nice holder.
