TR6 heater hoses.
I’m looking for a Japanese or Australian car equivalent for the internal heater hose that attaches to the top of the core and the lower firewall connection. I’m assuming the originals are either no longer made or perished waiting for someone like me to buy them. I got a good life out of these as the car I have was converted to RHD in the mid 80’s and I can see over spray on them. I fact they are so hard I would not be surprised they are the originals, all be it now in several pieces, in order to get the things off the heater. I have replaced the engine bay hoses at least 3 times in 12 years that I have had the car and thought I was connecting to the heater directly in the engine bay. It’s funny, I was convinced the core and / or the metal tubes had failed when I found wet carpet. Happy to find rubber hoses – concerned I had missed them for 12 years of preventive maintenance - then spent 1 ½ hours upside down getting the rubber mass off the tubes.
