Ok now on to fixing my next issue. When I purchased my TR6 5 years ago I bought a front end kit from TRF, and a new/rebuilt steering rack, Issue... my car takes considerable effort to turn the wheels when I am backing up or driving slow. What could be the issue? I have read some threads of guys saying it only takes a few fingers to turn their wheels. When I rebuilt the front end I believe I tightened every thing down with the front end in the air, could this be the problem? I also ended up putting the upper wishbone arms on backwards but since fixed that issue about a week later. could I have bend the trunions? I would really like to get the steering to be easier, if its suppose to be easier

any comments on the issue are welcome and has anyone had a hard steering problem

How does it turn with the front wheels up? I don't recall it taking a few fingers with my TR4A and that was with skinny 165 tires.

I plan on jacking the car up this weekend, putting jack stands under the spring pans so the wheels are off the ground and see what the steering is like
