Wondering if the frame the outlines the grille (the formerly plastic and now very rusted frame) is available as a separate piece or if I'm in the market for a new-used grille? Anything I'm seeing from suppliers seems to be a one piece replacement, but every now and then I'll see a picture where the 2 parts have been separated.
 
Thanks Matt - I think those are the silver strips that the later cars have. The piece I'm wondering about is the outer frame of the grille itself (816074). I'm getting the idea that while the inner section of the grille can be remover from that frame, it may be a big PITA to do and I'm probably better off finding a good used option.
